WeWork India has leased 22,000 sq. ft. of office space to global billing and monetisation platform Chargebee at its Ramanujan Intellion Park center in Chennai.

The center, located in Littlewood Tower, spans 150,000 sq. ft. across three floors and offers 2,400 desks, making it one of WeWork India’s flagship properties in South India. The deal comes after Chargebee’s relocation of its Ireland office to WeWork 5 Harcourt Road in Dublin earlier this year, underscoring the company’s preference for flexible workspaces that support global operations.

For WeWork India, the Chargebee lease strengthens its expansion strategy. In July 2025, the company opened two new centers—WeWork EON Free Zone in Pune (60,000 sq. ft.) and the Chennai Intellion Park facility—marking significant growth in India’s top-tier commercial hubs.

Currently, WeWork India operates across eight cities with a footprint exceeding one lakh desks, catering to enterprises, startups, and global firms seeking scalable, hybrid-ready office solutions.

“Our partnership with Chargebee reflects the growing demand for agile, tech-enabled workspaces among global SaaS players. Chennai continues to be a strategic market for us,” said a senior executive at WeWork India.

The move also highlights a broader industry trend: tech companies increasingly prefer managed office spaces that offer agility, scalability, and cost-efficiency, aligning with hybrid work models and global expansion goals.
