KEC International, a company specializing in engineering and manufacturing and part of the RPG group, disclosed in a stock market filing on July 2 that it has secured fresh contracts totaling Rs.1,017 crore in the transmission & distribution (T&D) and clean energy segments.
The organization announced that the year-to-date (YTD) order intake has surpassed Rs.5,000 crore, showcasing an impressive 50% increase from the prior year.
Vimal Kejriwal, the Managing Director & CEO of KEC International Ltd, conveyed contentment with the consistent flow of orders during the initial quarter of the fiscal year.
The secured contracts encompass an engineering, procurement, and construction (EPC) endeavor and tower provision in the Middle East, in addition to an agreement for the balance of system package for a 625 MWp Solar PV project in Rajasthan from a subsidiary of an undisclosed PSU in the renewable power generation sector.
Kejriwal underscored the firm's faith in the renewable EPC sector, which plays a crucial role in the company's future expansion, while also pointing out the strengthening of their global T&D market position with contracts in the Middle East. The company's shares ended the day 2.16% up at ₹903 on the NSE on July 2.
