Samsung launched a slew of new products at an event last week. This was the first Galaxy Unpacked event on the company’s home turf, Korea. At this event, the South Korean tech giant launched new foldable devices, Galaxy Watch 6 series, and the Galaxy Tab S9 series. Now, the company is set to expand its premium smart TV lineup in India. Samsung has created a mini-site on the e-commerce platform Flipkart to officially confirm the launch of its new Crystal Vision 4K TV series.
The Flipkart page says that the company’s new TV lineup will launch in India in August. Samsung’s Crystal Vision 4K TV range will include three different display sizes 43-inch, 55-inch, and 65-inch. The company has also noted that these TVs will also be equipped with multiple sensors and built-in IoT features. Samsung is yet to confirm the prices of the models.
However, the company is offering a Samsung TV pre-reserve VIP pass. Customers who buy the pass will also get various discounts while buying different sizes of TVs when available. According to a report, the Samsung Crystal Vision 4K TVs will ship with a light sensor for automatic brightness adjustment. This feature will adjust the brightness of the TV in seven levels to optimise the viewing depending on the environment. If the TV is connected to a camera, it will also alert users when it detects an intrusion. These new TVs will also come with SmartThings integration that will enable users to control all the smart devices via a built-in hub. This Workspace feature will also help users to access their PC, laptop and mobile wirelessly via Samsung DeX on the TV. The TV will also include the Samsung TV Plus platform that offers 200+ channels with movies several and shows.
Samsung Crystal Vision 4K TVs also have a 3-side bezel-less design and support Google Meet. For an improved viewing experience, these TVs are also equipped with 4K upscaling, HDR 10+ and the PurColor feature which enables a wide range of colors. Other features like Contrast Enhancer adjusts the contrast for a better sense of depth and color while the Motion Xcelerator estimates and compensates frames for the source of contents for a smoother and clearer picture. These TVs will also support the Auto Low Latency Mode (ALLM) that will optimise the screen for a smooth gaming experience by reducing motion blur and input lag.
