A multinational corporation & Technology Company, Apple & teams exploring a entry into personal robotics, which is a significant field with a strength to become one of the ever-transforming “Next big things” of the company.
The Apple Engineers have been planning to explore a mobile robot that can follow their users all round their homes. Also the iPhone manufacturer has developed a most advanced home table-top device that utilizes the robotics to move a display everywhere.
Despite the effort of iPhone maker is still in the starting stages & it’s uncertain, the products will eventually be launched. At some cases, Apple is undergoing a pressure to discover new source of revenue generation. It sparred an electric vehicle project in February & a thrust into mixed-reality goggles is projected to take several years to become a chief revenue generator.
But means of entering into a Robotics sector, Apple could advance a greater tech-footprint in the homes of consumers & create most of the developments in Artificial intelligence sector. But still it is not yet clear what strategy it might make. However the robotic smart display is far better than the mobile bot, it has been added & again removed from the product road map of the company over the years.
If the exploration once done & explored, Apple wouldn’t be the first technology giant to create a Home Robot. Already Amazon.com Inc. introduced a model in the year 2021 called Astro. At present Astro costs around $1,600. But the company was slow-moving to provide the device in great quantities & it remains a key product.
