Apeejay Surrendra Park Hotels has announced that Ran Baas, The Palace in Patiala has been recognized as one of the World’s Most Beautiful Hotels 2025 as part of the Prix Versailles program. The Prix Versailles program is an international architecture award, developed to promote the importance of architecture and design as part of newly opened or refurbished hotels and is supported by UNESCO and the International Union of Architects.
Ran Baas is the only Indian hotel that has received the award. As a Relais & Chateaux hotel, it has undergone restoration to emerge as the oldest existing Sikh fort which is a wonderful blend of cultural heritage and modern luxury. The 35 suite palace is amazing; it contains Architecture from late Mughal to Rajput, Sikh and Colonial influences, and has been preserved and interpreted through THE Park Hotels’ design ethos.
Ran Baas contains Neel, an all-day global dining restaurant and The Patiala, a bar incorporating a modern nightclub with traditional Punjabi music and celebration.
