Minor Hotels has laid out an ambitious list of global openings and relaunches for 2026, it keeps the company committed to expansion across the major gateway cities, new leisure destinations, and the most attractive beach markets.
The group's planned growth will not only cover Asia but also the Indian Ocean, Australia, the Middle East, Africa, and Europe and thus, will be a blend of the urban hubs and resort destinations.
The group will be refurbishing and consequently reopening Anantara Hua Hin Resort after a complete renovation of 171 guest rooms and suites, upgraded pools, and renovated dining concepts. The NH Collection Maldives Reethi Resort in Baa Atoll is scheduled to welcome its guests in December 2025 with 105 beach villas and overwater villas after it will be completely revitalized.
Key Highlights
Apart from that, the renewal of Anantara Siam Bangkok Hotel and the launch of new Avani properties in Kota Kinabalu and Vientiane are significant developments. The opening of Anantara Xiling Snow Mountain Resort in Chengdu late in the year will be the newest addition in the group's diverse portfolio throughout Asia.

The relaunch of Anantara Dubai Downtown Hotel with the fresh and new rooms, suites, and a signature restaurant will be the major highlight of the Middle East and Africa, along with the debut of Anantara’s first tented camp in Zambia, the opening of Tivoli La Vie Muscat Hotel and the twin-brand Tivoli and Avani resorts at Bilaj Al Jazayer, Bahrain.
The European expansions are NH Collection Paris Ponthieu Champs Élysées, Tivoli Palazzo Risorgimento Lecce in Italy, and NH Collection Sliema Malta.
