Lloyds Group Buys 6 Flats in Tardeo Kalpataru Prive For Rs. 227 Crore

Ravi Agarwal, chairman of Lloyds Realty separated from other family members, including Babulal Agarwal, chairman of Lloyds Group, has acquired six ultra-luxury apartments in Tardeo, South Mumbai for Rs. 227 crore, according to documents available with Zapkey, the aggregate carpet area of the six apartments is 17,908 sq ft which means they have a rate per sq ft of Rs. 1.26 lakh, the sale includes 24 car parking spaces also as indicated in the documents.

Based on the documented documents access by Zapkey, the buyers include Ravi Agarwal and Babulal Agarwal.

The latter is the chairman of Lloyds Group and Ravi Agarwal is the chairman of Lloyd Realty, the other real estate arm of the group, while the seller of property is Kalpataru Hills Residency Pvt Ltd.

Altamount Road is one of the most upscale and expensive residential communities in the Tardeo neighbourhood of South Mumbai, as popular ill-mannered advertising suggests, Tardeo area is known for its ultra-luxury homes and extremely limited supply, which consists of high-end apartments, exclusive bungalows and wealthiest families of India.

Lloyds Group has many entities such as Lloyds Metals and Energy, Lloyds Luxuries, Lloyds Realty Developers Limited, and Lloyds Engineering Works, among others. Lloyds’ businesses include importing, exporting, and dealing in iron and steel; alloy steel scrap; steel tubes, pipes and wires, etc.

Based on the property registration documents obtained from Zapkey, Abha Gupta, the wife of Lloyds Group chairman Mukesh Gupta, and their son, Shreekrishna Gupta, purchased a triplex apartment in Worli, Mumbai, for Rs. 107 crore last year.

The triplex is 13,207 sq ft. Based on the documents registered on June 27, 2024, the apartment had an acquisition cost of Rs. 81,133 per sq ft.

The triplex in Sea Krest building, a project presently under construction and also sold by Sugee Group as part of this transaction. The apartment also provides the buyer with 16 car parking spaces.
