In its first housing project in Hyderabad, which it launched earlier this year, listed real estate developer Godrej Properties sold residences totaling more than 0.84 million square feet and valued at over Rs. 1,000 crores, the company reported.
The Kokapet neighborhood is home to the Godrej Madison Avenue project. After its January start, the company claimed to have sold over 300 properties in a few of weeks. The company has sold 0.84 million square feet in terms of volume.
One of Hyderabad's most popular residential and business districts is Kokapet. Additionally, the region provides easy access to HITEC City, Gachibowli, the financial center, and the Outer Ring Road.
"The reaction to our first project in Hyderabad has us ecstatic. This achievement serves as further evidence of the enormous expansion potential that Godrej Properties has in Hyderabad as well as the high demand for upscale residential complexes in Kokapet. Our dedication to growing in Hyderabad, where we want to start a second project soon, is further strengthened by this achievement," stated Gaurav Pandey, CEO & MD, Godrej Properties.
According to the business, the project would offer around 1.5 million square feet of development potential, mostly for high-end residential and retail space.
In order to construct a luxury housing project with an estimated Rs. 1,200 crore in potential revenue, the company purchased an additional 7-acre block of property in Bengaluru last year. This Thanisandra property will be developed into a posh residential complex with first-rate apartments in a range of designs.
