DLF Set to Open First Mumbai Residential Project

DLF, one of India’s leading real estate developers headquartered in Gurugram, is set to make its debut in the Mumbai market with a premium residential project in Andheri West. The company will launch the first phase of The Westpark on July 17.

The first phase of the project features more than 400 apartments distributed across four towers, with the first two towers being launched. The next two towers will follow shortly, and a second phase of four additional towers will be launched in the months to come.

Key Highlights-

  • DLF to debut in Mumbai with premium project ‘The Westpark' in Andheri West
  • Phase 1 includes 416 high-end apartments starting from Rs.5 crore
  • Project features 50,000 sq ft clubhouse and metro connectivity

The Maharashtra Real Estate Regulatory Authority (MahaRERA) has sanctioned this phase, which has 416 apartments. Apartment layouts have 3, 4, and 5 BHK units and five studio apartments, sources added. The prices are likely to begin from Rs.5 crore, focusing on the city's elite homebuyers.

Apartments come in sizes between 1,048 sq ft. and 2,278 sq ft., while the studios are around 236 sq. ft. The RERA-approved towers are being developed on a 7,788 sq metre land holding, part of a 5.18-acre project. A 50,000 sq. ft. clubhouse and proximity to Oshiwara Metro station also increase the project's value.

DLF returned to the Mumbai market in July 2023 in a joint development with Trident Group under Slum Rehabilitation Authority (SRA) scheme. The company had already bought mill land in Lower Parel in 2005, which it later sold to Lodha Developers in 2012.
