Bollywood Star Sonakshi Sinha sells Luxury Apartment for Rs. 22. 50 crore in Mumbai

Sonakshi Sinha has sold her Bandra apartment for Rs. 22.50 crore, according to property registration documents accessed by SquareYards. She had purchased the property in March 2020 for Rs. 14 crore, resulting in a 61% increase in value. 

The apartment, situated on the 16th floor of 81 Aureate in Bandra West, is part of a project spanning 4.48 acres that features 4 BHK apartments. As per SquareYards, Sinha still owns another unit in the same development. The recently sold apartment has a carpet area of 4,211 sq ft and a built-up area of 4,632 sq ft, along with three dedicated parking spaces. 

The transaction was officially registered on January 31, 2025, with a stamp duty payment of Rs. 1.35 crore and a registration fee of Rs. 30,000. Documents indicate that the buyer is Richi Bansal, a Delhi-based individual. 

Between February 2024 and January 2025, a total of eight transactions worth Rs. 76 crore were recorded at 81 Aureate, according to SquareYards data. The average resale price for a 4BHK in the project is Rs. 51,636 per sq. ft., while the average monthly rent stands at Rs. 8.5 lakh. 

Sonakshi Sinha is the fourth Bollywood celebrity to sell property in the past month. In January 2025, Amitabh Bachchan, Akshay Kumar, and filmmaker Subhash Ghai sold properties worth a combined Rs. 100 crore, as per property registration records.
