Nikhil Nanda, who serves as the Chairman and Managing Director of Escorts Kubota Limited, is the son-in-law of Amitabh Bachchan. According to documents reviewed by Liases Foras, a data analytics company involved in real estate research and data analytics (specializing in market intelligence and registration data), Nikhil Nanda purchased a luxury apartment in Mumbai’s Juhu area for approximately Rs. 28 crore.

According to the documents, the transaction was completed with the help of his sister, Nitasha Nanda, in her capacity as the Power of Attorney holder.

Nikhil Nanda, who is married to Shweta Nanda (daughter of Amitabh Bachchan) is the son of Ritu Nanda and Rajan Nanda. His mother, Ritu Nanda, was the daughter of Raj Kapoor, an iconic actor, director, and producer in Bollywood.
The Agreement for Sale was registered on October 16, 2025. Nanda has purchased a unit at K Raheja Corp’s Maestro project, which is a 3,139 sq ft unit with a 411 sq ft terrace, for a total area of approximately 3,550 sq ft. The apartment also includes three car parking spaces, according to documents.
The property was registered for Rs. 28.39 crore, with stamp duty of Rs. 1.70 crore paid. The seller is K Raheja Corp Real Estate Pvt. Ltd, documents disclosed.
