WelcomHeritage Arka Resort and Spa Opens in Scenic Rishikesh Hills

WelcomHeritage has unveiled its latest property, Arka Resort and Spa, nestled in the picturesque hills of Rishikesh. Set against the stunning Shivalik range, the hillside resort sprawls across 3.5 acres at an elevation of 4,300 feet in Patti Talla, Village Kund Silogi on Lansdowne Road, Yamkeshwar.

Guests are treated to panoramic mountain views, serene natural ponds, and the point where the Ganges river meets the plains. The journey to Arka passes through Rajaji National Park, known for its rich biodiversity including birds, deer, and occasional leopard sightings, offering travellers an immersive nature experience.

Inspired by the five elements of nature, the resort features 25 elegantly designed chalets in four categories, including a luxury unit with a private pool. Tudor-style architecture, pine log ceilings, and minimalist interiors combine contemporary mountain charm with modern amenities such as Wi-Fi, air conditioning, heating, and in-room essentials.

Dining at Arka offers a multi-cuisine restaurant serving regional, international, Sattvik, vegan, and Pahari dishes, alongside a bar offering cocktails, spirits, and wines. A Vedic and Ayurvedic-inspired spa will soon be operational, complemented by facilities including a swimming pool, yoga room, nature trails, and birdwatching opportunities.

The resort also hosts events for 50–400 guests, making it ideal for leisure, wellness, and spiritual retreats. Accessibility is convenient via Dehradun Airport (66 km) and the upcoming Byasi Railway Station (15 km), with nearby attractions like Patna Waterfalls, Laxman Jhula, and rafting points enriching the visitor experience.
