The Hoxton Dubai Signs as Its First Middle East Hotel

The Hoxton is set to enter the Middle East with a new hotel in Dubai Media City. The project will be the lifestyle hotel brand’s first regional property, expanding its international portfolio while strengthening Dubai’s growing hospitality offering.

The Hoxton is set to make its Middle East debut with a new hotel in Dubai Media City, expanding the international hospitality brand into the region as Dubai continues to strengthen its position as a global destination for business, leisure and lifestyle tourism.

The upcoming Dubai Media City property is listed by The Hoxton as a forthcoming location in its Middle East portfolio. The hotel will represent the brand’s first presence in the region and add a new hospitality offering to one of Dubai’s established business and media districts.

The Hoxton is part of Ennismore, a global hospitality company known for developing lifestyle-led hotel brands. Its portfolio has expanded across Europe and North America, with properties in cities including London, Amsterdam, Paris, Rome, Barcelona, Berlin, Vienna and Dublin, alongside locations in the US. The Dubai opening will extend that international network into the Middle East.

Dubai Media City provides a strategic setting for the brand’s regional entry. The district forms part of Dubai’s wider business and technology ecosystem and is surrounded by commercial, residential and hospitality developments. Its proximity to Dubai Internet City, Knowledge Village and major residential communities also positions the area as a potential base for business and leisure travellers.

The Hoxton’s expansion comes as Dubai continues to attract international hotel operators seeking opportunities in a market supported by strong visitor demand and ongoing development. The emirate has expanded its hospitality infrastructure alongside its broader tourism strategy, with new hotels and lifestyle concepts being introduced across established and emerging districts.

The brand’s model is centred on combining accommodation with social and lifestyle spaces, creating properties intended to serve both hotel guests and local communities. Its existing hotels typically incorporate restaurants, bars, meeting areas and communal spaces alongside guestrooms.

The Dubai Media City project will therefore bring The Hoxton’s established hospitality concept to a new market while giving the brand access to Dubai’s growing business and tourism ecosystem. The company’s official hotel directory currently lists Dubai Media City as “coming soon”, confirming the location as part of its planned Middle East expansion.

The opening will also mark a new phase in The Hoxton’s international growth strategy, following its continued expansion across Europe and other global markets.
