ITC Hotels has announced the signing of a management agreement for Welcomhotel Mysuru, marking another milestone in its expansion strategy across key business and leisure destinations in India. The upcoming 99-key property will strengthen the hospitality company's presence in Karnataka while reinforcing the Welcomhotel brand's growing footprint in South India.

Located in Mysuru, one of Karnataka's most prominent cultural and heritage destinations, the hotel is designed to cater to both leisure and business travellers. Known for its royal legacy, historic landmarks, vibrant festivals, and growing tourism sector, the city continues to witness increasing demand for quality hospitality infrastructure. ITC Hotels aims to leverage this potential by offering guests an experience that blends contemporary comfort with the destination's distinctive cultural identity.

The upcoming Welcomhotel Mysuru will feature 99 guest rooms and suites equipped with modern amenities. The property will also include an all-day dining restaurant, a lobby cafe showcasing regional flavours, and approximately 5,500 square feet of indoor banquet and event space. These facilities are expected to position the hotel as a preferred venue for weddings, social celebrations, conferences, and corporate events while serving the needs of domestic and international visitors.

The emergence of the project, Anil Chadha, MD of ITC Hotels , said that Mysuru has heritage, tourism and economic significance and so it has become a fitting place for the hotel. He mentioned that this new property would help the company mark its popularity in Karnataka and provide premium hospitality experience through a value system based on the local culture. Sunag B.S, partner of Sumeru Hospitality said that the partnership is an understanding between both parties regarding creation of a hotel that has the vibe of Mysuru along with the modern amenities.
