The luxury hotel project is being developed by the PVR Group with an estimated investment of ₹250 crore and will be constructed on a 3-acre site. It is expected to be completed within two years.

Minister Kandula Durgesh highlighted that this development reflects progress on investment agreements from the recent Partnership Summit and emphasized Visakhapatnam’s growing prominence as both a tourism and business hub. He noted that such projects play a significant role in enhancing the city’s overall economic and infrastructural development.
The proposed Hyatt hotel will offer premium accommodation, fine dining, and state-of-the-art conference facilities designed to meet international standards. Conference halls and event spaces will be equipped to host corporate meetings, seminars, and various other professional events, catering to both domestic and international visitors.
Officials pointed out that the hotel is likely to generate substantial employment opportunities for local youth, both directly within the hospitality sector and indirectly through ancillary services.
The project represents a significant investment in the city’s tourism infrastructure, reinforcing Visakhapatnam’s status as an emerging destination for luxury hospitality and business tourism.
