Hilton has announced a strategic agreement with Regenta Hotels, owned by Royal Orchid Hotels, to sign and open 125 Hampton by Hilton hotels across India.
This partnership marks a significant step in Hilton’s expansion strategy, particularly in the upper midscale segment, driven by increasing domestic travel and the rising aspirations of India’s expanding middle class.
The new hotels, operating under the Hampton by Hilton brand, will be developed primarily across western and southern India, including key markets such as Goa, Maharashtra, Karnataka, Tamil Nadu, Andhra Pradesh, and Telangana.

These properties will join Hilton’s global portfolio of over 3,100 Hampton by Hilton hotels, reinforcing the brand’s international presence.
The agreement follows Hilton’s strategy of leveraging large-scale strategic partnerships to accelerate growth in India. By combining strong local operating expertise with Hilton’s global brand and distribution network, such collaborations enable faster and more efficient expansion. This marks Hilton’s third major strategic partnership in India, building on previous agreements designed to streamline franchise development across multiple properties.
